1 RESOLUTION NO. 4212
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPOINTING
A MEMBER AND AN ALTERNATE MEMBER OF SAID COUNCIL OF SAID CITY TO
3 THE CITY SELECTION COMMITTEE PURSUANT TO PART 30F DIVISION 10 OF
THE PUBLIC UTILITIES CODE

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That pursuant to the Southern California
7 Rapid Transit District Law, being Part 3 of Division 10 of the
8 Public Utilities Code, LEONIS C. MALBURG, a member of said City
9 Council of the City of Vernon, is hereby appointed as a member of
10 the City Selection Cormnittee; and THOMAS A. YBARRA, a member of
11 said City Council of the City of Vernon, is hereby appointed as an
12 alternate member of the City Sels ction Cormnittee.

SECTION 2: That the within Resolution shall become
14 operative and the appointments made by Section 1 hereof shall be
15 effective on February 5, 1974.

SECTION 3: That irmnediately after the effective date
17 of the appointment hereby made, the City Clerk of the City of
18 Vernon shall, without delay, forward a certified copy of this Reso
19 lution to the Secretary of the Southern California Rapid Transit
20 District.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
22 certify to the adoption of this Resolution, shall cause the action
23 of the aforesaid City Council in adopting the same to be entered
24 in the official minutes of said City Council, and shall retain
25 this Resolution, duly signed and executed by the proper City offi-
26 cials, in the official records of said City.
27 ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 5th day of February, 1974.
