.RESOLUTION NO. 4235
WHEREAS, by the death of said MRS. MARTHA F. TAVERNEU.I
leaves a vacancy on the City Council of the City of Vernon, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires
to appoint WESLEY J. KEEBLER to the City Council of the City of
v'ernon to fill said vacancy; and
WHEREAS, WESLEY J. KEEBLER is a resident of the City of
Vernon and qualifies for said appointment,
NCJI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby appoints WESLEY J. KEEBLER to fill the vacancy on the City
Council of the City of Vernon, created by the death of a member
of the City Council, Mrs. Martha F. Tavernelli, to serve the
unexpired term of said Mrs. Martha F. Tavernelli, subject to the
filing by WESLEY J. KEEBLER the financial disclosure statement as
required by Section 3701(b) of the Government Code.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 16th day of April, 1974.
