RESOLUTION NO. 4247
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING
ADDENDUM NO. I TO CONTRACT NO. 376 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CITY
HALL AND POLICE FACILITY AND PARKING STRUCTURE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT
SERVICE GARAGE, AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4230 OF THE CITY OF
VERNON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4230 was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Vernon approving Contract No. 376 of the
City of Vernon and providing for the construction of City Hall
and Police Facility and Parking Structure and Fire Department
Service Garage, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes to
approve Addendum No. 1 to Contract No. 376 as prepared by Marion
J. Varnercn:l Associates, Architect, and approved by Arthur E. Nel-
son, Jr., Director of Public Works, under letter dated May 16,
1974, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has deter-
mined that it is in the best interests of the City of Vernon that
said Addendum No. 1 be approved and incorporated by reference to
Contract No. 376,

NOW, TIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That Contract No. 376, heretofore approved by
22 the City Council of the City of Vernon, is hereby amended by addin~
23 thereto Addendum No. 1 prepared by Marion J. Varner and Associates,
24 Architect, and approved by Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of
25 Public Works.

SECTION 2: That Resolution No. 4230, previously adopted
27 by the City Council of the City of Vernon is hereby amended by
28 inserting Addendum No. 1 to Contract No. 376, in and to the de-
29 scription of the Contract set forth in said Resolution.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
31 hereby directed to file at his office in the City Hall of the City
32 of Vernon a copy of Addendum No. 1 to Contract No. 376, and the

1 same be and hereby is adopted and incorporated by reference in
2 Contract No. 376 for all purposes as if set forth in full.

SECTION 4: That except as amended herein, Resolution No.
4 4230 shall remain in full force and effect.
5
SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
6 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
7 after the same shall be in full force and effect.
8 ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 2lst day of May, 1974.
