RESOLUTION NO. 4262
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
DELIVERY OF UTILITY TRUCKS PROVIDED PURSUANT TO CONTRACT NO. 381
OF THE CITY OF VERNON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Lindt-Wilson Motors was awarded the Contract to
supply Utility Trucks, pursuant to Contract No. 381 of the City
of Vernon, and
WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public Works
has reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon, under
date of June 12, 1974, that said Trucks have been provided and
recommends that the same be accepted and payment be made to the
supplier, in accordance with the agreement and in accordance with
Contract No. 381 of the City of Vernon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the Utility Trucks to be provided

16 pursuant to Contract No. 381 of the City of Vernon are hereby ac-
17 cepted by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That a payment is now due to the supplier in
19 the total sum of Nine Thousand Five Hundred Forty Nine Dollars and
20 Seventy Two Cents ($9,549.72), and the same shall be paid at this
21 time, and the remaining Fifteen percent (15%) of the total Con-
22 tract amount of Eleven Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Four Dollars and
23 Ninety Seven Cents ($11,234.97), or the sum of One Thousand Six
24 Hundred Eighty Five Dollars and Twenty Five Cents ($1,685.25),
25 shall be paid Thirty Five (35) days after the adoption of this
26 Resolution, and the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
27
directs the City Treasurer to make said payments in accordance
28 with this Resolution.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
