2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 4257

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: Resolution No. 4257 of the City of Vernon
6 is hereby amended by adding to Schedule III the following classi-
7 fication:
POLICE CADET
Grade 1 -
Grade 2 -
Grade 3
Grade 4
$705.00 per month
671.00
639.00
609.00
SECTION 2: Except as amended, Resolution No. 4257 shall
remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3: The foregoing classification shall be deemed
to take effect commencing August 1, 1974.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 6th day of August, 1974.

It is also recommended that the city furnish khaki uni-
forms to the cadets upon being accepted by the Department
and that these uniforms be replaced as needed.
