A USOl.UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VDNON COMMENDING
aOBEU H. BATBEltLy UPON HIS RETIREMENT
TB! CITY COUNCIL OF TBI CITY OF VEBBOR RlSOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHBU:AS. ROBERT H. BATHDLY was employed by the City
of Vemon as a Roseman in the Vernon City Fire Department on
February 21, 1942,and ha,s continually served the City of Vernon
bein.g promoted to Driver, Captairl and Assistant Fire Chief J and
eventually on Septembe.r 8, 1971, was appointed Fire Chief of the
City of Vernon, and
WHERIAS, BOBlitT H. IAt'HDLY is retiring as Fire Chief
of the City of Vernon on August 31, 1974, and the City Council
of the City of Vernon wishes to take this opportunity to thank

devotion to the City of Vernon,
