RESOLUTION NO. 4279
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ESTABLISHIN
A FORMAL_POLICY CONCERNING NON-DISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
6 determines and establishes as a formal policy for the City of

Vernon for all employment by the City of Vernon that there shall
be no discrimination in employing personnel by the City of Vernon,
or in promoting, or otherwise benefiting, employees of the City
of Vernon by virtue of said employees' race, creed, sex or country
of origin.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 20th day of August, 1974.
