RESOLUTION NO. 4283
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING
AND ADOPTING THE LAND USE ELEMENT ,.CIRCULATIONELEMENT, HOUSING
ELEMENT, CONSERVATION ELEMENT, SEISMIC SAFETY ELEMENT, NOISE c ELE-
NENT, SCENIC HIGHWAY ELEMENT AND SAFETY ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL
PLAN
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, there was presented to the City Council of the
City of Vernon, sitting as a Planning Commission, after a regu-
larly noticed Hearing of the Land Use Element, Circulation Ele-
ment, Housing Element, Conservation Element, Seismic Safety Ele-
ment, Noise Element, Scenic Highway Element and Safety Element of
the General Plan, and
WHEREAS, said Elements to said General Plan were pre-
pared by Koebig & Koebig, Inc., and approved by the Director of
Public Works of the City of Vernon, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon approves
said Elements to said General Plan and desires to adopt the same,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon,
upon recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of
Vernon, does hereby adopt and approve the above-described ele-
ments to said General Plan, prepared by Koebig & Koebig, Inc.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall transmit a copy of this Resolution and of said Elements to
the General Plan of the City of Vernon to the appropriate State
authorities, pursuant to California State Laws.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
