TING THE CITY OF MAYWOOD ON ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, the Cln OF HAYWOOD will celebrate its 50th Anniver-
6 sary on Sept_bel' 20. 21 and 22 of 1974, and
7 WHEREAS. the City of Vernon has enjoyed its close ties and
8 geographical proximity to the CITY OF HAYWOOD,
9 NOW, TUREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
10 SEerION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon extends
11 its congratulations and best wishes to the CITY OF MAYWOOD upon its
12 50th Anniversary.
13 SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon hopes for
14 the continued cooperation and support between the two Cities, as
15 has existed in the past.
16 ~ECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify
17 to the passage of this 1tesolution and thereupon and thereafter the
18 same shall be in full force and effect.
