A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COuNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON REQUESTING
AN ALLOCATION. OF. COUNTY AID TO, CITIES FUNDS FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated
certain monies to the City of Vernon as County Aid to Cities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires
to expend the amount of Fifty Two Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Two
Dollars ($52,222.00) of said funds accrued to the City for recon-
struction of Washington Boulevard from approximately Seven Hundre
Ninety (790) feet east of Downey Road to East City BoUndary, and
WHEREAS, Washington Boulevard is included in the City
of Vernon's currently approved Select System of Streets and in
Los Angeles County's Master Plan of Highways;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: The County of Los Angeles is hereby requeste
to allocate the sum of $52,222.00 of the Aid to Cities Funds
apportioned to the City of Vernon for the work specified above
and to pay this amount to the City of Vernon when claimed.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the
Los Angeles County Road Commissioner for processing.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
