Resolution No. 4322 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 '-+ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 RESOLUTION NO. 4322 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE BID OF MILLS FENCING COMPANY FOR FENCING SOTO STREET PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE . WITH CONTRACT NO. 388 OF THE CITY OF VERNON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, Contract No. 388 of the City of Vernon was approved by the City Council of the City of Vernon, pursuant to Resolution No. 4314, and sealed bids were opened on April 1, 1975 and WHEREAS, said bids were referred to ARTHUR E. NELSON, JR., Director of Public Works, who has reported to the City Council under date of April 9, 1975, recommending that the Contract for fencingSoto Street Property be executed with Mills Fencing Com- pany, on the basis for their bid in the sum of Four Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Seven Dollars ($4,477.00), being the lowest bid meeting the Contract requirement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon does hereby award the Contract in accordance with the recommenda- tion of ARTHUR E. NELSON, JR., Director of Public Works. SECTION 2: That all other bids are rejected and the City Treasurer is hereby directed to return to unsuccessful bidders any cashiers or certified checks deposited with said bids. SECTION]: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
