RESOLUTION NO. 4324
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE BID OF MOBILE RADIO, INC., FOR 'THE FURNISHING, DELIVERING AND
INSTALLING TO THE CITY OF VERNON, FIRE DEPARTMENT RADIO COMMUNICA-
TIONS SYSTEM, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION NO. 387 OF THE CITY
OF VERNON
WHEREAS, Specification No. 387 of the City of Vernon was
approved by the City Council of the City of Vernon, pursuant to
Resolution No. 4316, and sealed bids were opened on April 1, 1975,
and

WHEREAS, said bids were referred to F. H. COLVIN, Fire Chief
and CHARLES H. McGOVERN, City Attorney, who have reported to the
City Council under date of April 15, 1975, recommending that the
Specification for the furnishing, delivering, and installing to
the City of Vernon, Fire Department Radio Communications System,
in accordance with Specification No. 387, be executed with MObile
Radio, Inc., on the basis of their bid in the sum of Nineteen
Thousand One Hundred Thirty Dollars and Eight Cents ($19,130.08),
less trade-in of $370.00, being the lowest bid meeting the Speci-

fication requirement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon does
21 hereby award the Specification in accordance with the recommenda-
22 tion of F. H. COLVIN, Fire Chief and CHARLES H. McGOVERN, City
23 Attorney.

SECTION 2: That all other bids are rejected and the City
25 Treasurer is hereby directed to return to unsuccessful bidders any
26 cashiers or certified checks deposited with said bids.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon hereby
28 authorizes the Purchasing Agent of the City of Vernon to issue the
29 necessary Purchase Orders for the furnishing, delivering and
30 installing to the City of Vernon, Fire Department Radio Communica-
31 tions System.

SECTION 4: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
