RESOLUTION NO. 4331
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE WORK OF MILLS FENCING COMPANY, FOR FENCING SOTO STREET PRO-
PERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 388 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, MILLS FENCING COMPANY was awarded the Contract for
Fencing Soto Street Property, pursuant to Contract No. 388 of the
City of Vernon, and
WHEREAS, ARTHUR E. NELSON, JR., Director of Public Works
has reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon under date
of May 15, 1975, that said work has been completed and recommends
that the work be accepted and payment be made to the Contractor
in accordance with the agreement;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the work for Fencing Soto Street Property,
pursuant to Contract No. 388 is hereby approved by the City of
Vernon.
SECTION 2: The total contract amount is Four Thousand Four
Hundred Seventy Seven Dollars ($4,477.00).
That there is now due
to the Contractor the final partial payment totaling Three Thousan
Eight Hundred Five Dollars and Forty Five Cents ($3,805.45), which
should be paid at this time and the remaining Fifteen Percent (15%
of the total Contract amount or the sum of Six Hundred Seventy One
Dollars and Fifty Five Cents ($671.55) is payable Thirty Five (35)
days after the adoption of this Resolution and the City Council
of the City of Vernon hereby directs payment of said sums as set
forth to MILLS FENCING COMPANY.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 20th day of May, 1975.
