1 RESOLUTION NO. 4334
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, AMENDING
THE RULES AND REGULATIONS RESPECTING THE DISTRIBUTJ:ON OF ELECTRIC
3 ENERGY, SUPPLIED BY - THE CITY OF VERNON
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has determinec
6 in compliance with Ordinance No. 806, that rules and regulations
7 respecting the distribution of electrical energy supplied by the
8 City of Vernon shall be those rules and regulations of the
9 Southern California Edison Company which are applicable within
10 the City of Vernon, and
11 WHEREAS, SECTION 3 of said Ordinance authorizes the City
12 Council of the City of Vernon to incorporate such changes in the
13 rules and regulations applicable to electrical service, as may
14 not be in conflict with rate schedules, and
15 WHEREAS, said Section provides that such: changes may be
16 adopted by Resolution,
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
18 SECTION 1: That the Southern California Edison Company Rule
19 No.2, "DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE", Sheet No. 4569-E, shall be
"
20 adopted as a Rule and Regulation applicable to electric service
21 to the consumer within the City of Vernon.
22 SECTION 2: That any other rules previously adopted by the
23 City Council of the City of Vernon, which may be in conflict with
24 the rules set forth in SECTION 1 above, are hereby repealed.
25 SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
26 directed to keep and maintain three (3) copies of the above-
27 mentioned Rule and Regulation, applicable to electrical service
28 in the City of Vernon, at the Office of the City Clerk of the
29 City of Vernon, and to make said Rule and Regulation available
30 on request for examination.
31 SECTION 4: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
32 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
