RESOLUTION NO. 4345
1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON CONTINUING
THE RETENTION OF PAUL P. HENDRICKS, AS CONSULTING ELECTRICAL
2 ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF VERNON
:3 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
4 WHEREAS, the City of Vernon is in need of a Consulting
5 Electrical Engineer to insure the proper operation of the Vernon
6 Light and Power System, and
7 WHEREAS, PAUL P. HENDRICKS is familiar with said Light
8 and Power System and has previously served the City of Vernon
9 as Consulting Electrical Engineer,
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
11 SECTION 1: That the retention of PAUL P. HENDRICKS as
12 Consulting Electrical Engineer for the City of Vernon is hereby
13 continued.

SECTION 2: That the duties of said PAUL P. HENDRICKS shall
15 be to work with the City Council of the City of Vernon and advise
16 the same regarding the operation of the Light and Power System of
17 the City of Vernon.

SECTION 3: That said Consulting Electrical Engineer of
19 the City of Vernon is hereby retained at a salary of $2,325.00
20 per month, payable in advance, commencing July 1, 1975, plus a
21 reimbursement of any monies advanced or expended by said Consultin
22 Electrical Engineer on behalf of the City of Vernon, for necessary
23 and reasonable expenses in the performance of his services for the
24 City, exclusive of office facilities, secretarial services, local
25 telephone charges, and local automobile transportation.

SECTION 4: Resolution No. 4258 and all resolutions in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed as of June 30, 1975.
SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 1st day of July, 1975.
