RESOLUTION NO. 4346
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE BID OF PARK FORD AUTOMOTIVE, INC., FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE
DUMP TRUCK, IN ACCORDANCE WI'ml CONTRACT NO.. 390 OF THE CITY OF
VERNON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Contract No. 390 of the City of Vernon was approve
by the City Council of the City of Vernon, pursuant to Resolution
No. 4337, and sealed bids were opened on June 17, 1975, and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to ARTHUR E. NELSON, JR.,
Director of Public Works, who has reported to the City Council

11 under date of June 26, 1975, recommending that the Contract for
12 the purchase of One Dump Truck be executed with Park Ford Automo-
13 tive, Inc., on the basis of their bid in the sum of Eleven Thou-
14 sand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars and Thirty Eight Cents ($11,750.38
15 being the lowest bid meeting the Contract requirements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 does hereby award the Contract in accordance with the recommenda-
19 tion of ARTHUR. E. NELSON, JR., Director of Public Works.

SECTION 2: That all other bids are rejected and the City
21 Treasurer is hereby directed to return to unsuccessful bidders
22 any cashiers or certified checks deposited with said bids.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
24 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
25 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
26 ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 1st day of July, 1975.
