1 RESOLUTION NO. 4362
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE WORK OF AMERON, INC., PIPE LINING DIVISION, FOR CEMENT LINING
:3 CAST IRON PIPE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 391 OF THE CITY
OF VERNON

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, AMERON, INC., PIPE LINING DIVISION was awarded
7 the Contract for Cement Lining Cast Iron Pipe, pursuant to Con-
8 tract No. 391 of the City of Vernon, and
9 WHEREAS, ARTHUR. E. NELSON, JR., Director of Public Works
10 has reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon under date
11 of October 1, 1975, that said work has been completed andre-
12 connnends that the work be accepted and payment be made to the
13 Contractor in accordance with the Agreement;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1: That the work for Cement Lining Cast Iron
16 Pipe, pursuant to Contract No. 391 is hereby approved by the City
17 of Vernon;

SECTION 2: The total contract amount is Four Thousand
19 Two Hundred Six Dollars ($4,206.00). That there is now due to
the Contractor the final partial payment totaling Three Thousand
Five Hundred Seventy Five Dollars and Ten Cents ($3,575.10),

which should be paid at this time and the remaining Fifteen Per-
cent (15%) of the total Contract amount or the sum of Su Hundred
Thirty Dollars and Ninety Cents ($630.90) is payable Thirty Five
(35) days after the adoption of this Resolution and the City
Council of the City of Vernon hereby directs payment of said sums
as set forth to AMERON, INC., PIPE LINING DIVISION.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
