RESOLUTION NO. 4372
-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE BID OF C. T. & F., INC., FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODERNIZATION, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 395 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Contract No. 395 of the City of Vernon was
approved by the City Council of the City of Vernon, pursuant to
Resolution No. 4363, and sealed bids were opened on November 18,
1975; and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to ARTHUR E. NELSON. JR..
Director of Public Works. who has reported to the City Council
under date of November 21. 1975, recommending that the Contract
for Traffic Signal MOdernization be executed with C. T. & F., Inc.,
on the basis of their bid in the sum of Six Thousand Seven Hundred
Forty Nine Dollars Exactly ($6,749.00), being the lowest bid
meeting the Contract requirements;
Treasurer is hereby directed to return to unsuccessful bidders
any cashiers or certified checks deposited with said bids.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of December, 1975.
