A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE BID OF TRAFFIC ENGINEERING ,INC., FOB. PAVEMENT STIll'ING FOB.
1976, IN ACCOUANCE WITH CONmCT NO. 400 OF THE CITY OF . VERNON

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Contract No. 400 of the City of Vernon was
pursuant to
approved by the City Council of the City of Vernon,
Resolution No. 4378 for Pavement Striping for 1976,
were opened on January 20, 1976; and

being the lowest bid meeting the Contract requirements; I
NOW. THEB.EPORE, BE IT RESOLVED: I
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon I
does hereby award the Ceatract in accordaBce with the recoumeadatioal
of ARTHUR E. NELSON. JR., Director of Public Works. I

SECTION 2: That all other bids are rejected and the City I
Treasurer is hereby directed to return to unsuccessful bidders any I
WHEREAS. said bids 'Ere referred to ARTImR E. NELSON, JR.,
Director of Public Works, Who has reported to the City Council
under date of February 9, 1976, recommending that the Contract for
"
Pav~ent Striping for 1976 be executed with Traffic Engineering,
cashiers or certified checks deposited with said bids.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 17th day of February. 1976.
