5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, LINDT-WILSON MOTORS. INC., was awarded the Contract
for the deliverance to the City of Vernon One (1) Dump Truck, pur-

8 su.ant to Contract No. 390 of the City of Vernon. and

WHEREAS, ARTHUR E. NELSON, JR., Director of Public Works has

10 reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon under date of
11 February 9, 1976, that said Dump Truck has been delivered and rec-
12 cODlDends that said Dump Truck be accepted and payment be made to the
13 contractor in accordance with the Agreement;

NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the deliverance of One (1) Dump Truck to
16 the City of Vernon, pursuant to Contract No. 390 is hereby approved
17 by said City;
SECTION 2:
The total contract amolmt is Eleven Thousand

Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars and Thirty Eight Cents ($11,750.38), I

said amount including sales tax, less the trade-in allowance. That i

there is now due to the Contractor the final partial payment tota1in,
Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Seven Dollars and Eighty Two Cents I
($9,987.82) which should be paid at this time and the remaining
Fifteen Percent (15%) of the total Contract amount or the sum of
One Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty TwO Dollars and Fifty Six Cents
($1,762.56) is payable Thirty Five (35) days after the adoption of
this Reso1u.tion and the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
directs payment of said sums as set forth to 1J:NDT-WILSON MOTORS, IN .
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 17th day of February, 1976.
