RESOLUTION NO. 4397
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE WORK.. OF C. T. & F., INC., FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODERNIZATION,
IN ACCORDANCE WITH. CONTRACT NO. 395 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, C. T. & F., IR::., was awarded the Contract for
Traffic Signal MOdernization, pursuant to Contract No. 395 of the
City of Vernon, and
WHEREAS, ARTHUR E. NELSON, JR., Director of Public
Works has reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon under
date of March l6, 1976, that said work has been completed and
recommends that the work be accepted and payment be mde to the
Contractor in accordance with the Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the work for Traffic Signal MOderniza-
tion, pursuant to Contract No. 395 is hereby approved by the City
of Vernon.
SECTION 2: The total contract amount is Seven Thousand

Seven Hundred Thirty Dollars Exactly, ($7,730.00). That partial I
payments totalling Six Thousand Five Hundred Seventy Dollars and I
Fifty Cents, ($6,570.50) have been made and the remaining Fifteen I
Percent (15%) of the total Contract amount or the sum of One I
I
Thousand One Hundred Fifty Nine Dollars and Fifty Cents, ($l,159.50~
is payable Thirty Five (35) days after the adoption of this Reso- I
lution and the City Council of the City of Vemon hereby dir ects I
i
payment of said sum as set forth to C. T. & F., INC.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
