RESOLUTION NO. 4404
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNO~ AND THE
COUNTY OF. LOS ANGELES FOR ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Vernon an Agreement prepared by the County of Los
Angeles for Animal Control Services, which services are to be pro-
vided for by the County of Los Angeles within the city limits of
the City of Vernon, and
WHEREAS, the services to be provided and costs thereof
and other terms 'and conditions are set forth in said Agreement, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon deems it
in the public interest that said Agreement be executed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon does
hereby approve the Agreement for Animal Control Services referred

SECTION 2: The Mayor and the City Council of the City
of Vernon are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agree-
ment on behalf of the City of Vernon and to forward executed copies
to the County of Los Angeles forthwith.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
