RESOLUTION NO. 4408
A RESOLUTION OF THE crTY OF VERNON ESTABLISHING FEES FOR BUILDING,
ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, HEATING, VENTILATING, COOLING, REFRIGERATION
AND FIRE PROTECTION PERMITS ISSUED BY. THE CITY OF VERNON AND FOR
SPECIAL INSPECTIONS OR FOR CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY AND FOR
TEMPORARY USE OF COMMERCIAL COACHES, AND FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF
TENTATIVE PARCEL MAPS FOR DIVISION OF PROEERTY _
THE CITY COl:JNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIQB 1: (a> The fee to be collected for each buildiDg,
electrical, pluabiag, heating, ventilating, ceoliDg, refrigeration
and fire protection permit shall be as set forth in Table I-A, and
uader certain conditions as set forth iD SECTION 6 of this Resolu-
11 tiOR. This fee shall be collected by the City Clerk and depesited
12 iate the geaeral fund of the City of Veraon.
13 The determinatie. of value or valuation may be made by the
14 Administrative Authority.

(b) When a pIa is required to be submitted, a plaa-checking
fee shall be paid to the City Clerk at the time of submitting plans
and specifications for checking. Said plan-checkiag fee.sha11 be

of California, as set forth in Chapter 8 of Division 2 of the Public

1 rity, of a request therefor, in writing, shall be entitled to a
2 ref_d equal to eighty percent (80t.) of the fee actually paid for
3 such permit. The Administrative Authority Shall satisfy himself as
to the right of suCh app licaat to such refuad, and each such ref_d
shall be paid as. provided by law for the payment of claims against
the City of Vernon.
(e) In the event that aayperson shall have paid a plan check
fee as required _der Subsection (b).. provisions, aad the proposed
work, construction or project is cancelled prior to any plaa check
being performed, the applicant who paid the plan check fee, upon
presentation to the Administrative Authority, of a request therefor,
in writing, shall be entitled to a ref_d equal to oae h_dred per-
cent (lOOt.) of the fee actually paid for such plaD check.
