RESOLUTION NO. 4411
A RESOLUTION OF '!'HE CITY COuNCIL OF '!'HE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE WORK OF C. T.. & F. ,INC., FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL INS~ION,
SANTA FE AVdtJEAT PACIFIC BOU'LEVAID..VERNON . AVENUE, IN ACCODANCE
WITH CONTRACT. NO. 389 OF.THE CITY, OF VERNON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF' VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, C. T. & F., INC., was awarded the Contract for
7 Traffic Signal Installation, Santa Fe Avenue at Pacific Boulevard-
. .
8 Vernon Avenue, pursuant to Contract No. 389 of the City of Vernon,
and

10 WHEREAS, ARTImB. E. NELSON, JR., Director of Public
11 Works has reported to the City Council under date of May 11, 1976,
12 that said work has been comp leted and recommends that the work be
13 accepted and payment be made to the Contractor in accordance with
14 the Agreement;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the work for Traffic Signal Installa-
tion, pursuant to Contract No. 389 is hereby approved by the City

of Vernon.
SECTION 2: The total Contract amount is Forty Thousand
Seventy Seven Dollars Exactly, ($40,077..00). That a final payment
of One Thousand Five Dollars and Seventy Seven Cents ($1,005.77)
is BOW due. The remainiBg fifteen percent (15%) of the total
COBtract amount or the sum of Six Thousand Eleven Dollars and

Fifty Five Cents ($6,011.55) is payable Thirty Five (35) days

after the adoption of this Resolution and the City Council of the

City of Vernon hereby directs payment of said sum as set forth
to C. T. & F., INC.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify. to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 18th day of May, 1976.
