Herewith is letter from C. W. Blanton, Foreman,
Water Department advising that he plans to retire from
his employment effective close of business July 7, 1976,
on the fifty-sixth anniversary of his birthdate.
Mr. Blanton was employed as aUtilityman on Nov-
ember 1, 1960 and was reclassified to Foreman on January
1, 1967. Mr. Blanton has served the City well both as
an employee and a resident.
It is recommended that the resignation of Mr.
Blanton be accepted, effective close of business, July 7,
1976.
