A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VDNON COMHEN-
DIllG JACK WlEKS WOll HIS RETIREMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VEJlNON USOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, JACK WEEKS has beea employed since March 5, 1952,
as a Utilityman for the City of Vernon, and is retiring effec-
tive June 30, 1976, and
WHEREAS, JACK WEEkS has skillfully served tbe City of
Vernon for over 24 years and bis contributions to the City of
Vernon and bis pres8l'lce will be sorely missed,
NOW, THERlFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SICTION 1: '!'bat the City Council of tbe City of Vernon
does hereby co-.nd JACK WEEICS for his mal'lY years of service to
the City of Vernon.
nCTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
wishes JACK WEIKS continued success in. whatever endeavors be may
undertake.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
