DING DELWIN J 0 TUCDl. UPON HIS IETIBlMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VE1tNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WBBUAS, DELWIN J. TUCICD. has been employed by the City
of Vernon since July 22, 1957, and is retiring as a Utilityman
effective June 30, 1976, and
WHEllIAS, DELWIN J. TUCKEll has skillfully served the City
of Vernon for over 18 years and his contributions to the City
and his presence will besore1y missed,
NOW, THEREFOIE, BE IT ltESOLVlD:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby cO!lll.end DELWIN J. TUCKER for hi. many years of
service to the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
wishes DIMN J 0 TUCICER continued success in whatever endeavors
he may undertake.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon

Herewith is letter from Delwin J. Tucker, Uti1ity-
man, advising that he plans to retire from his employment
with the city effective close of business, June 30, 1976.
Mr. Tucker was employed as an Assistant Maintenance
man on July 22, 1957. He was 66 on his last birthday
anniversary, February 1. Mr. Tucker has served the city
well for nearly nineteen years.
It is recommended that the resignation of Mr. Tucker
be accepted, effective close of business, June 30, 1976.
