RESOLUTION NO. 4418
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AUTHORIZING
THE. RENEWAL OF A GE~RAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
VERNON AND THE COUNTY OF LOS .ANGELES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon is presently a party to a
General Services Agr~ement with the County of Los Angeles, the
same being due to expire on June 30, 1976, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
to renew said Agreement for a five (5) year period,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: the City Council of the City of Vernon by
this Resolution inclicates its willingness to accept a renewal of
the General Services Agreement with the County of Los Angeles for
a five (5) year period, commencing July 1, 1976.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the
appropriate department or departments of the County of Los Angeles
and by forwarding the same it shall be deemed that the City of
Vernon is willing to accept said renewal of the existing General
Services Agreement as set forth above.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage or this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 15th day of June, 1976.
