RESOLUTION NO. 4424

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 SECTION 1: Effective October 1, 1976, SCHEDULE IV of Reso-
6 lution 4424 shall be amended as follows:

(a) The position of Deputy Director of Environmental Health
8 is hereby deleted.

(b) There is hereby created the position of Senior Environ-
10 mental Specialist at a Salary Scale as follows:

Health Department set forth on page 11 of said Resolution No.
4424 is hereby deleted and in lieu thereof is inserted the
following:
In addition to said salaries, the Director of Environmen-
tal Health, the Chief Deputy Director of Environmental Health,
the Senior Environmental Specialist, and the Envir.~enta1
Specialist shall each receive, when they use their own motor
vehicles in the service of the City, an additional sum of
$105.00 per month; the City Health Nurse shall receive an
additional sum of $35.00 per month when she uses her own motor
vehicle in the service of the City, when such expenditures are
authorized in advance by the City Council. Outside of the sums
set forth herein, the City shall not be responsible for repairs
or any additional costs for upkeep, fuel, lubrication, rep1ace-

ment in whole or in part, or other expenses in connection
with any such vehicles beyond the amounts set forth in
this paragraph.
3 SECTION 3: Excepting as amended by this Resolution, the
4 wording o:fReso1ution No. 4424 shall remain in full force and
5 effect.
6 SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall cer-

tify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
