5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
RESOLUTION NO. 4435
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE . WORK. OF STEINY AND COMPANY, . FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTi\LLATION
AT ATLANTIC AND DISTRICT BOULEVARD, IN ACCORDAlfCE.WITH CONTRACT
NO. 398 OF THE ..CITY. OF VERNON
6 WHEREAS, STEINY AND COMPANY was awarded the Contract
7 for Traffic Signal Installation at Atlantic and District Bou1e-
8 vard, pursuant to Contract No. 398 of the City of Vernon, and
9 WHEREAS,ARTHUR E~ NELSON, JR., Director of Public
~ , < ~
10 Works has reported to'the City Council of the City of Vernon
11 under date of August 20, 1976, that said work has been completed
12 and recommends that the work be accepted and payment be made to
13 the Contractor in accordance with the Agreement;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1: That the work for Traffic Signal Insta11a-
16 tion, pursuant to Contract No. 398 is hereby approved by the City
17 of Vernon.

SECTION 2: The total contract amount is Seventeen
19 Thousand Four Hundred and One Dollars Exact1~ ($17,401.00). That

20 final partial payment totaling Fourteen Thousand Seven Hundred

21 Ninety Dollars and Eighty Five Cents, ($14,790.85) is due now
22 and the remaining Fifteen Percent (l5%)'of the total Contract
-
23 amount or the sum of Two Thousand Six Hundred Ten Dollars and
24 Fifteen Cents, ($2,610.15) is payable Thirty Five (35) days after
. .. -
25 the adoption of this Resolution and the City Council of the City
26 of Vernon hereby directs payment of said" sum as set forth to
27 STEINY AND COMPANY.
28 SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of t!1e City of Vern~
29 shall certify to the passage of this Resolutie. and thereupon and
:30 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
