RESOLUTION NO. 4440
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON SETTING
THE TIME AND PlACE OF HEARING, PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE
SECTION 87311, FOR THE ADOPTION ,OF A CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOVERNMENT CODE SECTIONS 87300 ET SEQ.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon, pursuant
to Government Code Sections 87300 et seq., desires to adopt a
Conflict of Interest Code for the City Council of the City of
Vernon, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
set the time and place for hearing of the formulation of said
Code, pursuant to Government Code Section 87311,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon does
15 hereby notice a public hearing to consider the adoption of a
16 Conflict of Interest Code for the City Council of the City of
17 Vernon, said time and place of hearing to be at the hour of two
18 (2) o'clock P.M., on October 5, 1976, during the regular Council
19 meeting of the City of Vernon held in the lunch room of the
20 Public Works facility located in the Northwest corner of the
21 City Hall property located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in the City
22 of Vernon, California.

SECTION 2: There being no newspaper of general circulation
-
24 printed, published or circulated in the City of Vernon, the City
25 Clerk is hereby directed to post a copy of this Resolution, or
26 cause the same to be posted, in three (3) of the most public
27 places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the northwest corner of
28 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis
29 Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the
30 lobby of the City Hall of the City of Vernon, located at 4305
31 Santa Fe Avenue in said City.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

1 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
2 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
3 ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 7th day of September, 1976.
