A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING I
THE RULES AND REGULATIONS RESPECTING THE DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRIC i
ENERGY SUPPLIED BY.THE CITY OF VERNON i

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has determined!
in compliance with Ordinance No. 863, that rules and regulations I
respecting the distribution of electrical energy supplied by the I
City of Vernon shall be those rules and regulations of the Southern!

WHEREAS, SECTION 5 of said Ordinance authorized the City coun-I
ci1 of the City of Vernon to incorporate such changes in the rules I
I
and regulations applicable to electrical service, as may not be in I
I
I
WHEREAS, said Section provides that such changes may be adoPte~
I
California Edison Comapny which are applicable within the City of
Vernon, and
conflict with rate schedules, and
by Resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the Southern California Edison
RULE NO.5, SPECIAL INFORMATION REQUIRED ON FORMS
With the special conditions that any
reference to the Public Utility Commission
of California shall be deemed to refer and
mean the City Council of the City of Vernon;
and that any checks remitted in lieu of
paying the disputed bill may be made payable
to the City of Vernon and deposited with the
Treasurer of the City of Vernon.
RULE NO.7, DEPOSITS
Sheet No.4683-E
29 shall be adopted as Rules and Regulations applicable to
30 electric service to the consumer within the City of Vernon.
31 SECTION 2: That any other rules previously adopted by the
32 City Council of the City of Vernon, Which may be in conflict with

1 the rules set forth in SECTION 1 above, are hereby repealed.
2 SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
31 directed to keep and maintain three (3) copies of the above-men-
4 tioned Rules and Regulations, applicable to electrical service in
5 the City of Vernon, at the Office of the City Clerk of the City
6 of Vernon, and to make said Rules and Regulations available on
7 request for examination.
8 SECTION 4: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
9 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
10 after the same shall be in full force and effect.
11 ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 16th day of November, 1976.
