NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS (BIDS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF VERNON, (hereinafter
"Agency") invites and will receive sealed proposals (Bids) up to the hour of
two (2) o'clock p. m., onMarch 15, 1977, for the furnishing to said Agency
of all transportation equipment, materials, supplies and services necessary
In order to provide traffic signal installation, Soto Street and Vernon Avenue,
Soto Street and Leonis Boulevard, Contract No. 407.
At said time, proposals will be publicly opened and announced at the
offices of the Agency. Said bids shall conform to and be responsive to the
contract documents for said work as heretofore provided by said Agency and
must be accompanied by the security referred to therein.
The governing body of the Agency reserves the right to reject any
and all bids.
Copies of the contract documents are on file and may be examined
in the office of the Agency located at
4305 Santa Fe A venue
Vernon, California 90058
Copies may be obtained from said office by deposit of $10.00 per
set which deposit will be refunded if they are returned in good condition
within 15 days after the opening of the bids.
