NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS (BIDS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY" GIVEN that the CITY OF VERNON, (hereinafter
"AgencylT) invites and will receive sealed proposals (Bids) up to the hour of
two (2) olclock p. m., on Aprill9, 1977, for the furnishing to said Agency
of all transportation equipment, materials, supplies and services necessary
in order to provide Vernon Avenue Improvement between Santa Fe Avenue
and Downey Road, Contract No. 406.
At said time, proposals will be publicly opened and an nounced at the
offices of the Agency. Said bids shall conform to and be responsive to the
contract documents for said work as heretofore provided by said Agency and
must be accompanied by the security referred to therein.
The governing body of the Agency reserves the right to reject any and
all bids.
Copies of the contract documents are on file and may be examined ;in
the office of the Agency located at
4305 Santa Fe Avenue
Vernon, California 90058
Copies may be obtained from said office by deposit of $10.00 per set
which deposit will be refunded if they are returned in good condition within
15 days after the opening of the bids.
Dated at the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Vernon, this 5th
day of April 1977.
