VERNON APPRQVING CONTRACT NO. 405 AND AUTHORIZING
NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS OR BIDS FOR

that said contract be awarded in accordance with applicable State

SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
directed to file in his office at the City Hall of the City of
Vernon a copy of Said Contract No. 405.'
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
23 ,directed to give notice, in writing, inviting sealed proposals

or bids for Pavement Marker Installation, BandiniBoulevard (Downey
Road to Atlantic Boulevard) and District Boulevard (Corona Avenue
to Gifford Avenue), in accordance with Contract No. 405a.ndin

hour of 2:00 o'clock p.m. on the 3rd day of May, 1977, and in
accordance with Contract No. 405 approved by said City.
SECTION 6: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

~OTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS (BIDS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF VERNON, (hereinafter
"Agency") invites and will receive sealed proposals (Bids) up to the hour of
two (2) o'clock p. m., on May 3, 1977, for the furnishing to said Agency of
all transportation equipment, materials, supplies and services necessary
in order to provide Pavement Marker Installation, Bandini Boulevard (Downey
Road to Atlantic Boulevard) District Boulevard (Corona Avenue to Gifford
Avenue), Contract No. 405.
At said time, proposals will be publicly opened and announced at the
offices of the Agency. Said bids shall conform to and be responsive to the
contract documents for said work as heretofore provided by said Agency and
must be accompanied by the security referred to therein.
The governing body of the Agency reserves the right to reject any and
all bids.
Copies of the contract documents are on file and may be examined in
the of~ice of the Agency located at
4305 Santa Fe Avenue
Vernon, California 90058
Copies may be obtained from said office by deposit of $10.00 per set
which deposit will be refunded if they are returned in good condition within
15 days after the opening of the bids.
