2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING THE 2156 REPORT REGARDING PROGRESS
3 AND NEEDS FOR FISCAL YEARS 1972-73 THROUGH 1981-82
TO THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, STATE OF
4 CALIFORNIA
5 WHEREAS, Section 2156 of the Streets and Highways Code
6 provides that every City shall periodically submit to the Depart-
7 ment of Transportation a 2156 Report; and
8 WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has submitted to
9 the City Council of the City of Vernon a 2156 Report; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon finds the
11 information provided in the 2156 Report to be in conformance with
12 instructions provided by the Department of Transportation.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
14 CITY OF VERNON as follows:

SECTION 1: The 2156 Report as submitted is hereby approved
16 by the City Council of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
18 directed to transmit a copy of the 2156 Report to the Department
19 of Transportation, State of California, on or before May 1, 1977.
20 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of April, 1977.
