RESOLUTION NO. 4472
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON DESIGNATING THE LOCAL ENFORCEMENT
AGENCY TO CARRY OUT THE PROVISIONS OF T~
Z.BERG-KAPILOFF SOLID WASTE CONTROL ACT OF 1976
5 WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles and its cities are
6 required by Section 66796 of the Government Code to designate an
7 enforcement agency to carry out the provisions of the Z'Berg-
8 Kapiloff Solid Waste Control Act of 1976; and
9 WHEREAS, the City of Vernon Department of Health and

':environmental Control possesses the required capabilities in en-

vironmental health and solid waste management to implement the

WHEREAS, the County and each city within the County of
Los Angeles has designated or will designate i,ts Qwn enforc~~nt

NOW, THERlFO.RE, BE IT RESOLVED. BY' THE CITY COUNCJ!L, OF
THE CITY OF VERNON that it hereby designates the Department of
Health, and, Environmental Control as the enfo'rcement agency for the
City of Vernon pursuant to Subsection (a) (3)'c;>f Section _ 6"619:6 of
the Government Code.
