A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON ACCEPTING THE BID OF VERNON PAVING COMPANY
FOR VERNON AVENUE IMPROVEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CONTRACT NO. 406 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
5 WHEREAS, Contract No. 406 of the City of Vernon was
6 approved by the City Council of the City of Vernon, pursuant to
7 Resolution NO. 4468, and sealed bids were opened on Apri119,
8 1977; and
9 WHEREAS, said bids were referred to ArthurE . Nelson, Jr.,
10 Director of Public Works, who has reported to the City Council
11 under the da.teof April 27, 1977, recommending that the contract
12 for Vernon Avenue Improvement be executed with Vernon Pavi.ng
13 Company on the basis of their bid in the ,sum of Seventy-Seven
14 Thousand, Two Hundred Dollars and Ten Cents ($77,200.10), being
15 the lowest bid meeting the contract requirements.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
