Contract No. 368 of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director
has r~ported to the City Council,Ofthe City of Vernon undel',daite ,
of Ma~ ll, .1977 that said work has been completed and recommends
that the work be accepted and payment be made to the Cont,ractGr
in aqcordance with the' Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 'I'!' RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
CITY OF VERNON as follows:
SECTIONl: That the work for Ross Street Construction
South of 38th Street !'purs:uant to Contract No. 368 is hereby
approved by the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: That the total Contract ~ount is Forty-Eight
Thousand Eight Hundred Four DO,llars and Eighty Cents ($48,804.80;},..'
That final partial payment totaling Twenty-Four Thousand Two '
Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars and Thirty-Five Cents ($24,275.35)'"
is due now, and the remaining Fift~en percent (15%) of the 'total

(35) days after the adoption of this Resolution, and the City
