RESOLUTION NO. 4507
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON COMMENDING MANUEL T. MELLO
FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY
OF VERNON
5 WHEREAS, MANUEL T. MELLO has been employed by the City
6 of Vernon since February 1, 1951; and
7 WHEREAS, MANUEL T. MELLO will retire from the service
8 of the City of Vernon on September 30, 1977; and
9 WHEREAS, MANUEL T. MELLO has faithfully served as an
10 employee since February 1, 1951 and has served as Assistant Fire
11 Chief since September 1, 1974 and his loss will be deeply felt
12 by the City of Vernon;
13 NCM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
14 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLCMS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
16 takes this opportunity to commend MANUEL T. MELLO for his many
17 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
19 wishes MANUEL T. MELLO continued success in whatever endeavors he
20 may undertake.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
certified copy hereof to MANUEL T. MELLO, and that thereupon and
thereafter, the same shall be in full force and effect.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of November,
1977 .
