Re: City of Vernon Municipal Election Fact Sheet
Dear Ms. Schmidt:
Per our conversation of November l8, 1977, wherein
I discussed the possibility of amending City of Vernon Resolu-
tion No. 4508 regarding the polling hours for the Municipal
Election to be held March 7, 1977, please be advised that such
an amendment has been approved and adopted by the City Council.
Please make appropriate amendment to our Fact Sheet
mailed to you November 16, 1977, to reflect the change of hours
from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in con-
formance with Elections Code Section 22903.
I am enclosing certified copy of City of Vernon Reso-
lution No. 4508, Calling and Giving Notice of the Holding of a
General Municipal Election, etc.
I also spoke with Paul Marshal, Martin & Chapman,
and Becky of your office, this date and pursuant to their agree-
ment, I have been advised that the Registrar's office will pro-
vide us with an old, up-dated street index for this election.
I thank you and your outstanding staff for your effi-
cient and courteous manner handling these matters for us. It
is really appreciated.
Yours very truly,
