RESOLUTION NO. 4521
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON EXTENDING THE CONTRACT
WITH THE CITY ATTORNEY THROUGH JUNE 30,
1978

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, David B. Brearley assumed all rights and
7 allegations under a novation agreement for City Attorney services
8 on July 1, 1977; and
9 WHEREAS, the City is desirous.of extending said contract
10 to June 30, 1978.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
13 does hereby extend the City Attorney's existing contract, attached
14 hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein as though fully
15 set forth at length, through June 30, 1978.

SECTION 2: That the Mayor is authorized to execute
17 said extension for an on behalf of the City Council.
18
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
19 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
20 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
21 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of December,
22 1977.
