RESOLUTION NO. 4528
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF'VERNON ACCEPTING A BID OF ENNS
& GAGE, FOR CITY HALL LANDSCAPING, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 415 OF THE
CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, Contract No. 415 of the City of Vernon was
approved by the City Council of the City of Vernon pursuant to
Resolution No. 4517 and sealed bids were opened on January 3,
1978; and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to Arthur E. Nelson,
Jr., Director of Public Works/Building, who has reported to the
City Council under the date of January 17, 1978, .recommending
that the Contract for City Hall Landscaping, be executed with
Enns & Gage, on the basis of his bid in the sum of Thirty Four
Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty Two and 00/100 ($J4,732.00J, being
the lowest bid meeting the contract requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon does
19 hereby award, Contract No. 415, in accordance with the recommenda-
20 tion of Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public works/Building.

SECTION 2: All other bids are rejected and the City
Treasurer is hereby directed to return to unsuccessful bidders
any cashier or certified checks deposited with said bids upon
the receipt of an executed contract from Enns & Gage, accompanied
by all required bonds and certificates.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
27 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
28 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
