Honorable City Council
City of Vernon
Vernon, California
Gen t lemen :
Herewith is a proposed building division fee
schedule resolution. The effective date for the adoption
of the new resolution should be April 1, 1978, to allow
time to publicize the new fee schedule to contractors and
industry.
Los Angeles City and Los Angeles County have just
adopted new schedules and a building fee schedule comparison
for various valuations is enclosed. TheTable2-A for
special inspections has been simplified, but the mimimum
fee has been increased. It is hoped that this proposed
schedule could be used until the next Code adopt'ion period,
approximately two years. I will be available to review this
proposal with you at your convenience.
It is recommended that the proposed building division
fee schedule resolution be adopted.
