RESOLUTION NO. 4549
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING THE EXECUTION
OF AN "IN-LIEU" REPLENISHMENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON, CENTRAL &
WEST BASIN WATER REPLENISHMENT DISTRICT,
AND CENTRAL BASIN MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
6 WHEREAS ,.Central Basin Municipal Water District is a
7 member agency of the Metropolitan Water District; and
8 WHEREAS, the Central & West Basin Water Replenishment
13 a program whereby "water producers91 of member agencysmay
14 purchase water on a restricted basis during specific months
15 at an "in-lieu" replenishment rate and the Director of Public
16 Works/Building has recommended that the City Council approve
17 said agreement.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
19 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of th~ City of Vernon
21 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained herein-
22 above are true and correct.

SECTION 2:
That the City Council of the City of
24 Vernon hereby approves the execution of the In-Lieu Replenishment
25 Agreement and authorizes the Mayor to execute said agreement for
26 and on behalf of the City Council of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 3:
That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
28 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and

thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of March,
1978.
