RESOLUTION NO. 4555
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA, COMMENDING LOUIS
M. 13LOCH FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE
CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, LOUIS M. BLOCH has been employed by the City
6 of Vernon since April 15, 1944; and
7 WHEREAS, said LOUIS M. BLOCH will retire from the
8 service of the City of Vernon on April 7, 1978i and
9 WHEREAS, LOUIS H. BLOCH has faithfully served as an
10 employee since April 15, 1944 to January 11, 1958 as a Hoseman
11 for the Fire Department and has served in the Public Works Depart-
12 ment since March 23, 1959, and his loss will be deeply .felt by
13 the City of Vernoni
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
15 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
17 takes .this opportunity to commend LOUIS M. BLOCH for his many
18 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That the City Council of the City of Verno
20 wishes LOUIS ~1. BLOCH continued success in whatever endeavors he
21 may undertake.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
certified copy of the same to MR. LOUIS M. BLOCH, and thereupon
and thereafter the same phall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 21st day of March, 1978.
