RESOLUTION NO. 4556
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING MISCELLANEOUS
PERSONAL PROPERTY SURPLUS ~ND APPROVING THE
SALE OF SUCH SURPLUS PROPERTY TO PRIME METALS
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon Light and Power Department
6 has declared as surplus certain miscellaneous personal property
7 listed and describeda.n Exhibit t1A II ,attachedl1el$etoamLiIl,4,
8 corporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth
9 at lengthi and
10 WHEREAS, the purchasing agent was requested by the
11 Light and Power Department to obtain bids for the purpose of
12 selling said property as surplus pursuant to ~2.3l of the Vernon
13 City Codei and
14 WHEREAS, prime Metals has submitted the highest
15 responsible offer for the purchase of said surplus propertYi
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
17 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLm"1S:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
19 does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained herein-
20 above are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
22 does hereby find and determine that the miscellaneous personal
23 property listed on the attached Exhibit "A" is surplus to the
24 needs of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby find and determine that the offer of $2,646.60 sub-
mitted by Prime Metals is the highest price obtainable and is
suf'ficient and proper consideration for the sale of said property.

SECTION 4: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
2 does hereby approve the sale of said property listed on the
3 attached Exhibit "A" to Prime Metals for the sum of $2,646.60.

SECTION 5: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
5 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
6 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

in vcrious states of readyness. S~e bave the tops off and r.~ny are subject
to leaking oil. Extreme eare should be exercised in moving the transformers.
