A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING HEALTH
PEm~IT FEES APPLICABLE TO ALL PER11ITS GRANTED
BY THE CITY OF VERNON PURSUANT TO SECTION
11.25 AND SECTION 13.7 OF THE VERNON CITY
CODE AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 4438

6 WHEREAS, the Vernon City Code and, in particular,
7 Section 11.25 and Sect~on 13~] thereof, provides for the issuance

8 of health permits i arid
9 WHEREAS, Section 11.25 and Section l3~8 of the Vernon
10 City Code provides that the City Council of the City of Vernon
11 shall establish , by Resolution , health p~rmi t inspection fees
12 for the various types of businesses and vehicles requiring health
13 permits; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted
15 Resolution No. 4438 on September 7, 1976 establishing health
16 permit fees in accordance with said codei and
17 WHEREAS, said fees established by said Resolution are
18 hereby determined to be inadequatei and
19 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon intends
20 to establish new fees as set forth hereini
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
22 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
24 does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained herein-
25 above are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
27 does hereby establish that the issuance fees and annual renewal
28 fees for permits granted by the City of Vernon, pursuant to

SECTION 3: That in addition to the foregoing, the
15 licensee or permittee shall pay all other necessary fees or
16 deposits which may be required by other ordinances or resolutions
17 of the City of Vernon or applicable State laws in effect.

SECTION 4: That the fees provided for herein shall be
19 effective on April 1, 1978, and that Resolution No. 4438 and all
20 other Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
22

certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.

ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 21st day of March, 1978.
