A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK ON THE TRAFFIC
SIGNAL INSTALLATION A'r SQTO STREET AND VERNON
AVENUE, SOTO STREET AND LJ!;ONI8 BOULEVARD,
IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 407 OF THE
CITY OF VERNON

6 WHEREAS, SIGNAL MAINTENANCE, INC., was awarded the
7 Contract for work on the traffic signal installation at Soto
8 Street and Vernon Avenue, Soto Street and Leonis Boulevard,
9 pursuant to Contract No. 407 of the City of Vernoni and
10 WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public
11 Works/Building, has reported to the city Council of the City of
12 Vernon that said work has been completed, 'under date of April 13,
13 1978, and recommends that the work be accepted and payment be
14 mad.e to the Contractor in accordance with the Agreement.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
16 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the work on the traffic signal in-
18 stallation at Soto Street and Vernon Avenue, Soto Street and
19 Leonis Boulevard, pursuant to Contract N.o. 407, is hereby
20 approved by the City of Vernon;

SECTION 2: That the total contract amount is Fourteen
22 'l'housand Four Hundred E~ght and NollQODollars ($14,408.00). That

Vernon hereby directs payment of said sums as set north to SIGNAL
MAINTENANCE, INC., and instructs the City Clerk to ,file a notice
of completion with the County Recorder
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon

shall certify to the passage of this' Resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and:effect.
