WHEREAS, said JOHN ~ELLE.Y' iwill retire from the service

of the City of Vernon on Apri.l, 3~,,~:).~7.8i.,~,and
WHEREAS, JOliN J. KELLEY has'faithfully served as an

employee since April 18, 1958 as a Utilityman II for the Public
Works Department, and his loss will be deeply felt by the City
of Vernoni
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
takes this opportunity to commend JOHN J. KELLEY for his many
years of devoted service to, the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
wishes JOHN J. KELLEY continued success in whatever endeavors he
may undertake.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and ,present a
certified copy of the same to MR. JOHN J. KELLEY, and that
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
